How to Share Your WhatsApp Catalog Link on Android and iPhone
To share your WhatsApp catalog link, open your catalogue in WhatsApp Business and tap Share. You can send the link in a chat, post it on your status, copy it or share it to another app. Inside a customer's chat, you can also tap the attach icon, then Catalog and Send catalog.
Share your whole WhatsApp catalog link on Android
From the customer's chat (quickest):
- Open the customer's chat in WhatsApp Business.
- Tap the attach icon, then Catalog.
- Tap Send catalog, then send.
From your catalogue:
- Open the Tools tab and tap Catalog. Some versions show this under Settings and Business tools.
- Tap the menu, then Share, or tap Share link.
- Choose one: Send link via WhatsApp Business, Share to my status, Copy link, or Share link to send it through another app.
How to check it worked: the link shows a preview with your business name in the chat. Tap it to make sure it opens your catalogue.
Share your whole WhatsApp catalog link on iPhone
From the customer's chat (quickest): open the chat, tap the attach icon, then Send catalog, and send.
From your catalogue:
- Open Settings, tap Business tools, then Catalog.
- Tap the share icon.
- Choose one: Forward to send it to a chat, Share to my status, or Share to use another app.
- To copy the link, tap Share link, then Copy.
With Forward, you can change the message before you tap Send. Add a short line like "Here is our full range".
Share one product instead of the whole catalogue
When a customer asks about one sofa or one saree, send that item, not the full catalogue.
In the chat: tap the attach icon, then Catalog. Tap the item you want, then send. You can pick more than one item.
From your catalogue: open the item and tap Share link, or the share icon. Then pick a chat, your status, copy, or another app.
Put your catalog link on your WhatsApp status
Your status reaches every customer who has saved your number. WhatsApp says status updates are shared with all your contacts by default.
- Open your catalogue from Tools, then Catalog.
- Tap Share.
- Tap Add to status, or Share to my status, and send.
Post it again when you add new stock. A status disappears after a day.
What to send when a customer says "please share your catalogue"
Send the link with one short line that tells them what to do next. Copy one of these and change the words in brackets.
- "Here is our full catalogue with photos and prices: [link]. Tap any product and send me a message to order."
- "Our new [Diwali] stock is in this catalogue: [link]. Reply with the product name and I will share the price."
- "Here are all our [sofas]: [link]. Tell me your room size and I will suggest the right one."
What we see with real shops: owners often answer "please share your catalogue" with 20 photos, one after another. The customer's chat fills up and the first photos get lost. One link keeps everything in one place, and the customer can open it again tomorrow.
Why won't my catalog link open for a customer?
WhatsApp says catalogue links might not open on Android phones older than version 6.0. It also says the link can't be customised and may break if you change it. Our guide to a WhatsApp catalog link not working has 6 fixes. If the link opens but looks empty, see why a WhatsApp catalogue is not showing.
Can customers share my catalogue with their friends?
Yes. WhatsApp says customers can share a business's catalogue and its products with their friends. A customer opens your catalogue from your business profile, taps the share icon and sends it on. That is free word of mouth for your shop.
A catalogue link with your shop's name
The WhatsApp catalogue link is made by WhatsApp and can't carry your name. A catalogue website can. Links like luxuryhomesfurniture.onecatalog.in open in any phone browser, even for customers without WhatsApp, and every product has its own link to share. We build it from the photos and prices you send us on WhatsApp. See how it works on our WhatsApp catalogue page, or see the plans and prices.
